A lovely place! Stayed here for one night with a couple of musician friends while on tour in Scotland. Such a warm and comfortable place. Rooms were immaculate and very homely. Scott the owner made us feel so welcome and cooked us up a lovely breakfast exactly how we wanted it. Can’t recommended highly enough and will stay again next time we’re in the area. Thanks!
Absolutely brilliant place, owner is awesome and if you ever need a good recommendation for a nice single malt, they have the connection! Breakfast was amazing. Rook was comfortable. Highly recommend and I will be using again. Safe parking too.
The owner was so friendly and welcoming, rooms very clean, beds and mattress so comfortable, toilet and bathroom clean, kettele and tea and coffee were there, so you cam make yourself, it was a bit noisy for us, couldn't sleep well just because of that, it's not their fault though. We are sensitive to noise. But overall, it was good. The Scotish breakfast was nice, too. Freshly prepared
What a lovely guest house. Fantastic host and a great breakfast. Rooms very spacious and extremely comfortable extra large bed! Great place to stay with well behaved dogs, nice old railway track walk right across the road from the property. Would highly recommend staying here.
Had a fantastic trip to watch the football, the guest house was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful, The breakfast was fantastic and the young lass serving was very polite and friendly. Will be rebooking for our next trip to Scotland

This is a wee jem of a place and loved our stay there recently.the staff are so welcoming and can’t do enough for you especially Scott who cooks a delicious breakfast, the rooms are spacious and the beds excellent we had a great sleep . We will certainly be returning and recommending to family and friends.
This is a super place to stay if you are wanting to tour the area.( Can recommend the Kelpies,) A very welcoming host. Nothing is too much trouble for Scott & family. Spacious room, lovely comfortable bed, a very hearty breakfast with plenty of choices. After a long journey I had arrived at Herdshill earlier than planned but was allowed into my room to refresh ( far better than some of the more corporate hotels that would have insisted on the set time). Would certainly recommend and would visit again.
